The SPDP project supported displaced and vulnerable people by promoting self-help groups and income-generation activities. The project focused on restoring livelihoods, skills development, and social reintegration.

Implemented Area:
Banke, Bardiya, and Kailali Districts

Major Achievements:

  • Formed and supported 15 self-help groups

  • Mobilized NRS 78,000 community savings

  • Distributed 235 pigs and 136 goats

  • Supported 15 small trades, 21 Ghumti shops, and 4 carpentry shops

  • Conducted 15 Non-Formal Education (NFE) classes and conservation education programs
