ASTHA Nepal implemented the Access to Justice (A2J) Project in Achham to promote legal empowerment, expand access to justice, strengthen legal aid services, and foster accountability.
The project supported communities by establishing legal assistance mechanisms and improving access to justice services. As part of the project, defender booths were established in three palikas, hotline services for legal assistance were supported, and direct legal support was provided to 240 individuals.
