The VCP project supported conflict-affected families in Achham through integrated health, livelihood, and food security interventions to rebuild sustainable livelihoods.

Project Overview:
The VCP project aimed to improve the health and livelihoods of people affected by conflict in Achham district. Through integrated support in agriculture, food security, health, and livelihood, the project focused on enabling conflict-affected families to rebuild their lives with sustainable income sources and improved health awareness.

Major Achievements

  • Supported 123 conflict-affected individuals to start off-farm economic activities, enabling sustainable income generation.

  • Assisted 23 groups in promoting income-generating activities (IGAs) to strengthen community livelihoods.

  • Conducted 11 awareness programs focusing on HIV/AIDS prevention, personal hygiene, sanitation, and health promotion to improve community well-being.
