Project Overview
The Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) project aimed to improve menstrual health awareness among adolescent girls and women while promoting local entrepreneurship in sanitary pad production. Funded by the Grand Challenges Canada, the project was implemented in Achham District from April 2018 to October 2019 with a total project cost of NPR 3,605,001.20. The project focused on school-based monitoring, community awareness, MHM campaigns, and capacity building to establish sustainable, women-led menstrual pad enterprises.
