In health and nutrition sector, ASTHA Nepal has delivered impactful programs such as the USAID Integrated Nutrition Project, Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) project, and multiple WASH-related initiative. These programs have addressed maternal and child health, personal hygiene, adolescent health, and sanitation through awareness campaigns, infrastructure development, and capacity building of health workers and community volunteers. With increasing nutritional deficiencies and limited access to quality health services in rural Nepal, ASTHA sees an urgent need to enhance health systems at the local level. Its future approach includes scaling maternal and adolescent health programs, improving WASH infrastructure, and promoting sustainable behavior change.
