In Nepal, the share of agriculture in GDP is 23.95 percent. The number might not look that big but agriculture constitutes a dominant part of the Nepalese economy and it is not just a source of income for people residing in Nepal but a way of life as it is also the main source of fooding especially in the rural parts of the nation. However, the sector of agriculture is lagging behind as farmers do not have access to technical knowledge and are still utilizing the primitive methods of agriculture.
