Project Overview:
The ASIC project aimed to improve literacy and job skills among children and adolescents affected by armed conflict, with a special focus on vulnerable girls and young people. The project promoted education, vocational training, and psychosocial support to enhance their opportunities for social reintegration and sustainable livelihoods. Through community-based interventions, ASIC contributed to reducing vulnerabilities and building resilience among conflict-affected youth in the targeted districts.

Major Achievements:

Enhanced literacy and job skills of 4,000 conflict-affected children and adolescents through training and education programs.

Provided psychosocial support to 1,200 conflict-affected girls to strengthen emotional well-being and resilience.

Contributed to a decrease in human trafficking, child labor, and gender-based violence (GBV) through community awareness and protection initiatives.
